This event offers the chance to hear from 3 developers who have extensive practical experience of delivering green sustainable housing projects.
The Gusto Groupare one of the original green home pioneers with 18-years’ experience of designing and building award-winning eco-homes.Steff Wright MD of Gusto will consider the lessons which Gusto has learnt along this journey.
Nick Ebbs will discuss Blueprint’sexperiences of developing the Green Street development in the Meadows which incorporates energy-saving technology and how lessons learnt has influenced the design of the Trent Basin scheme, which is currently being constructed – the first phase of Nottingham Waterside redevelopment.
Positive Homes is a new company which intends to build super energy efficient homes for sale and rent using a revolutionary construction process. Martin Valentine CEO of Positive Homes will give an overview of their philosophy and why there remains a gap in the market for such housing.
There will also be the opportunity to tour the new Nottingham Sustainability and Enterprise Centre. The centre is part of a £27 million redevelopment of the New College Basford Hall campus and houses a range of incubation units, serviced office space and training facilities.
